The Pomeranian is one of the smallest dog breeds with a final size of 18 - 27 cm. Already after a maximum of 12 months Pomeranians are fully grown and show their final appearance.
With a life expectancy ranging from 12 to 16 years, the Pomeranian falls into the upper average compared to other dog breeds. The final weight varies depending on gender, ranging between 4.4 - 11.0 lbs. Male Pomeranians are usually around 1.1 lbs heavier than females.
